Dubai, 19^th June 2008 - For the second consecutive year Royal Ascot welcomed Jumeirah as one of their associate sponsors of the prestigious Royal Ascot Fashion Show.

Following the phenomenal success of last years inaugural Fashion Show, Jumeirah was once again involved with Royal Ascot, as an associate sponsor of the exclusive show that took place in the Bessborough Restaurant.

For this special occasion, Luigi Gerosa, Executive Chef at Burj Al Arab designed the six course mouthwatering menu served on all 5 days of the event. For the finishing touch, Jumeirah flew out their own head ice-carver from the Burj Al Arab, Dilan Peris who created a magnificent ice sculpture of the hotel to add to the glamour of the event.

Combining luxury and elegance, the Bessborough Restaurant leads the way in offering fine dining, fashion and thrilling racing. A daily fashion show, in association with Longines, Chambord and Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, took place in the stylish surroundings of the restaurant located on the top floor of a triple-marquee, with impressive views over the racecourse and fashion parade where top models took to the catwalk wearing the very latest women's and menswear.
